Visitation To Vietnam

From 10 to 16 November 2025, a delegation from MTAS undertook a strategic mission to Vietnam, visiting key agricultural hubs and production facilities. The visit provided a valuable platform for engagement with local exporters and government representatives, with a focus on diversifying import sources and enhancing Singapore’s food security.

The programme included site visits to modern abattoirs, poultry farms, and processing plants, offering members firsthand insights into Vietnam’s production capabilities and evolving food safety standards. The visitation also facilitated the exploration of sourcing opportunities for high-quality pork and poultry, reinforcing MTAS’ proactive role in strengthening a resilient and sustainable meat supply for Singapore.
